Masiela Lusha is a human rights activist writer, actress and author born and raised in Tirana Albania. Lusha is the sole child to parents Max and Daniela Lusha. At the age of 25 She made the leap from California in 2002, and moved to Los Angeles searching for her break. Brink was a singer and worked in caf s and bars as she searched for a band. She was a part of an audition and met Chris Howorth two years after meeting Howorth two years prior. Howorth was hesitant to let her audition because she was a woman. Howorth quickly changed his mind and apologized after listening to her singing. They formed the Dying Stars band along with Jeff Fabb, a drummer. Blake Bunzel (guitarist) and Josh Newell (bassist) joined the band in the following years. In This Moment became the new band's name after two live shows.
